Our boarding staff love pets and will watch over yours as if they were one of their own. Animals all get their individual spaces equipped with food, water, and blanket.
The dog walkers are fully trained in giving our boarding animals their medications as needed. Dogs need to get outside to release any energy they have. We make sure they are walked twice a day. Each dog is walked separately on a leash, so our staff can ensure their safety while they are outside exploring and getting the exercise and fresh air needed to prevent the occasional case of cabin fever.
Our boarding cats need love and attention during their stay. On a daily basis we will close the door to the cat room and allow each cat to wander around the room as we are cleaning their kennel. We ensure that they are happy, healthy and remain safe during their stay with us.
Animal Health Services also offers boarding for a few short hours while your run your errands, get some work done or just a much-needed lunch date with some friends.
We also provide care for sick and recovering pets. Often a pet will need supervised care after an operation, surgery, accident or illness. We take extra care to see that not only does your pet get the attention and medical treatment needed but that they are safely housed to speed their recovery. As indicated, we also see that ill animals are well isolated to prevent the possible spread of contagious germs or disease.
Bathing and Animal Care
Keeping your pet fresh and clean is not just for looks, it helps to keep them healthy as well. Washing your dog or cat can be tough, so treat yourself by treating your pet to a luxurious bath. Our special, cleansing baths remove dirt, debris, and that doggie pet odor, leaving your pet feeling fresh and revitalized.
Often a pet will be suffering from scratchy, itchy skin. This can often be managed by giving them a medicated bath that contains soothing agents that work to stop the itching.
Services also include nail trimming, dental care and ear cleaning.
